Q- Can we compete as a team?
A- You can compete as an individual or as part of a team (teams consist of 3 people completing one hill per person).

Q- How do I register?
A- Entries will be taken up to noon the day before the race and a limited number of places will be available on the day but come early.

Q- Is there car parking/ pooling available on each of the hills?
A- Moylussa has plenty of parking on site (two mile gate on the Scarriff road R463). but because Tountinna and Keeper hill have restrictions, car pooling is necessary.
Tountinna will be car pooled from Ballina National School.
Keeper hill will be car pooled from the Swimming Pool car park in Ballina.

Q- Do I have to do all 3 peaks?
A- No, you can pick and choose the peaks you want to conquer, 1 2 or all 3.

Q- What happens if the race is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances?
A- Due to the nature of the event, one or all of the Boru3Peaks may be
cancelled/postponed prior to or on the day of the event due to
unforeseen circumstances.
If the event cannot be postponed then your full entry fee will be
refunded on request – this does not include, travel or accommodation
costs incurred.
Announcements of any cancellation/postponement will be via the email
provided on the application form, the boru3peaks website and facebook
page. Please make sure you enter a valid email address on your
application.

Q- What are the start times?
A- Moylussa, Registration at two mile gate closes at 9am.
Tountinna, Registration closes at 7pm.
Keeper Hill, Registration at Doonane Car park (Keeper Hill) closes at 10am

Q- Will there be refreshments after the events.
A- There will be some refreshments available after Moylussa and Keeper Hill (peak 1 & 3).

Q- Will the courses be marked?
A- The course will be marked and marshalled.

Q-Is there a cut-off time?
A- There is no cut off time for finishing. But we do ask walkers to let us know if they are going to arrive back late.

Q-What should I bring?
A-For the night event, High Viz jackets and head/hand torches are Compulsory. Runners and walkers without these will not be allowed on the hill.
For the day events you should bring appropriate clothing and footwear. The weather can change quickly and there is little cover for shelter. Good running shoes or hiking boots are essential.
Bottled water is also advised.
PLEASE BE ADVISED THIS IS OFF ROAD TERRAIN AND YOU WILL ENCOUNTER MUD AND UNEVEN SURFACES.

Q- Is there a lower age limit?
A- You must be over 16 to enter this event.
